Hi, my name is Mark Williams and I want to thank you for visiting my blog. I first got started in the network marketing industry way back in 1988 at the age of 18! I was a young kid who had a lot to learn. It took a long time for me to find the right company to work with and more importantly to become the right person. This rant I recently posted on Facebook should give you some insight into who I am:
I was really discouraged. As a cancer survivor, I have been passionate about health and wellness for a long time. So, I found a line of products that I really believe in and also found that I could have a home business marketing these products and helping others do the same. But I’m an introvert. I don’t like networking or selling. So I found myself conflicted inside. Unfortunately, I let that keep me down for a while, particularly last November and December.
But, something changed in January. The desire to help others with their health and their financial futures, and the desire to build additional income in a home business became stronger than the limitations I saw in myself.
I became determined to learn everything I could about internet marketing – generating traffic, converting this traffic to leads, developing sales funnels that would educate my leads about my products and my business and motivate them to reach out to me so I could start building relationships with people who would become my customers and business builders. I think the best long-term business combines the best of internet marketing AND personal relationships.
I am determined to become the leader that I wish I would have found before I started this whole thing. The kind of leader who will take someone new, who doesn’t have the first clue on how to build a business, and walk with them step by step to help them achieve THEIR goals. A leader who has a box full of tools that he can pull out to customize a strategy for each person, based on their personality and circumstances.
As a result, I have made a LOT of new friends in the internet marketing world recently. I am learning a lot from them and implementing and testing what I am learning and taking massive action.
I’m not there yet. I’m a work in process. But I will get better and better as each day goes by!
So, I am committed to success and will work to stay one step ahead of those I am fortunate enough to lead in this wonderful industry!
