Great Advice from Ray Higdon – Dealing with Prospects That Don’t Answer the Phone

If you have been in network marketing for any length of time, you have probably heard of Ray Higdon. I was just reading some really good advice from him that I thought I would share with you.

In the article I reference below, Ray mentions that we often spend too much time with the wrong prospects. The underlying reason for this is our desperation to sign people up. What if you take a different approach and try to quickly DIS-qualify a prospect instead?

I like this idea a lot. The more I work my network marketing business the more I realize that there are only certain people I want to work with. I am looking for people that are kind and considerate, teachable, and that REALLY want to build a network marketing business FOR THEMSELVES. So, if the person on the phone disqualifies themselves by being rude or unmotivated, I’m out of there! Don’t try to change people! You’re looking for the right people!
